Boga Lake is the most beautiful natural lake at Bandarban in Bangladesh.She has also another name,that is "Bagakain Lake".
This lake located 18 kilometer away from Ruma Sadar Upozilla in Bandarban.This lake is about 15 acres. It is about 2700-3000 feet above sea level.
Boga lake is the highest hill-enclaved lake of Bangladesh. On top of the Bandarban hills this beautiful, small, natural, sweet water lake was created almost 2000 years back.Many mythological stories behind the creation of this lake.Experts says that it was created by collection of rain water in the crater of a dead volcano.Local people believe that this lake was the home of a dragon god.
The water colour is blue and very nice of this lake. After the monsoon, when totalthing on hills becomes lavishly green, this lake turns into a real beauty.That time it's look like a natural Heaven.Winter season is the perfect time to visit the lake cause road from Ruma to Boga lake is still under construction.
